CapitaSpring is a 280-meter mixed-use tower in Singapore’s financial district, designed by BIG and Carlo Ratti Associati. The project combines offices, serviced residences, retail, food market functions, public passage, and extensive vertical greenery. Its facade is defined by vertical elements that open to reveal planted terraces and social spaces, creating a relationship between the dense city and tropical landscape. The tower’s Green Oasis and roof garden turn vegetation into an organizing section rather than a decorative surface. CapitaSpring is especially relevant as a contemporary high-rise precedent because it integrates commercial density, public amenities, and climate-conscious biophilic design in one compact downtown site.
