ArtScience Museum

Moshe Safdie · Singapore, Singapore · 2011

The ArtScience Museum presents its galleries within a sculptural cluster of petal-like forms beside Marina Bay. Moshe Safdie's design makes the building's outward silhouette a major part of the museum experience. The elevated volumes and central opening create a clear contrast with the surrounding waterfront ground and larger resort development. Visiting: Exhibitions are ticketed; the lotus-shaped building is best seen freely from the Marina Bay waterfront promenade.
