Acropolis Museum

Bernard Tschumi Architects; Michael Photiadis · Athens, Greece · 2009

Bernard Tschumi and Michael Photiadis placed the museum above archaeological remains, with a glazed upper gallery oriented toward the Parthenon. The layered organization connects different periods of the site, while the top floor establishes a direct visual relationship with the Acropolis. Visiting: Museum galleries require an admission ticket, with concessions and free categories. The museum ticket is separate from the Acropolis archaeological-site ticket.
