35 Hudson Yards

Skidmore, Owings & Merrill / David Childs · New York, United States · 2019

SOM’s mixed-use tower combines residences, hotel space and other amenities in a stepped profile. Limestone and glass give it a heavier material character than nearby all-glass offices. Its massing changes with height, creating setbacks and terraces above the Hudson Yards public spaces. Visiting: Exterior viewing from public streets and the High Line is free. This is a privately used building; interior access requires permission, a hotel reservation or a relevant business visit.
